They’re probably focused on more exciting things than making Outlook awesome, but the fact that it (the product that users probably interact with the most) has such blatant out-of-the box usability issues makes me question Microsoft’s ability or desire to design for the customer and influences my view of any product they offer. The fact that there are work arounds (i.e. Google Desktop) doesn’t relieve my frustration.

Resilience, not luck, is the signature of greatness

Outlook should have universal search.
